Success is a word that should be carefully used; it tells of triumph after a long struggle to accomplish a distant goal.  For me, success was getting my weight under control. In January of 2015 I weighed approximately 300 pounds, barely any muscle, and I couldn’t lift more than 25 pounds. I was not about to let it control my life, so I started my journey at North Point Fitness/Alloy and boy, has it taken me far!

It started as one day a week coming in and working out with my trainer.  Slowly I came in more often, started watching my diet and got into shape.  Currently, I work out 5 times a week, and I weigh less than 255 pounds (more than 113 of which is muscle mass).  Just because I have trimmed down does not mean I am done – I have a long way to go! It’s amazing looking back, and seeing how far I have come along.
