Success Story: Completely Prepared To Take On College Lacrosse

Julia Couch’s Success Story

When I first started at Alloy, I had just committed to play lacrosse for Florida Southern College, a top Division-2 team. I had a little over a year to train and “up my game” before college. The trainers at Alloy worked with me to develop custom exercises that would help specifically to improve my lacrosse game. The goal is always to get better with every workout, so I can be better every time I step foot on the field.

Since working out with Alloy, I have learned to push myself and work harder than I ever thought was possible. Sometimes, this meant coming in to the gym between school and practice; other times, it meant just making myself do a finisher when I felt exhausted.

My game improved tremendously, along with my work ethic and mental toughness. I also received a bunch of accolades I’m certain I couldn’t have achieved if I hadn’t been working on my speed, footwork, and strength at Alloy every week. I scored more than 100 goals my senior season – more than I had scored in my previous three years combined! – and was even selected as Female Athlete of the Year at my school.

I have Alloy and its trainers to thank for the change in my game and confidence this past year! I now feel completely prepared to take on college lacrosse thanks to some sports-specific, butt-whooping workouts at Alloy!
