Half Kneeling Low to High Chop

The half kneeling low to high chop is an outstanding exercise that improves core strength and helps improve stability in the hips.

The half kneeling position is very beneficial in helping stretch out your quads and hip flexors, which are usually really tight because we sit a majority of the time.

Half Kneeling Low to High Chop Instructions:

  1. Start with inside knee down outside knee up
  2. Knees shoulder width apart
  3. Squeeze down glute
  4. Grab cable and keep arms straight
  5. Bring cable to your chest
  6. Press cable up and away from you
  7. Return to the starting position.
Coaching cues:
  • Knees shoulder width apart
  • Down glute engaged
  • Core engaged
  • Press up and out
